Val Cervoni
I grew up surrounded by a family who would sew and create an array of garments for any and all occasions. It always sparked my curiosity, although I did not follow my instincts at the time of pursuing a degree. I grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico and then went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Puerto Rico. After college I worked for the big mouse, The Walt Disney Company. Yet something was still missing. The creative bug was wanting to come out. I took a deep breath and really took the time to figure out what made me really excited in life. In the end, it was fashion, it was designing, and it was creating. I took to the plunge and quit my "grown up" job to pursue a degree in Fashion Design at Savannah College of Art and Design. Here I found a passion for concept development and menswear. I grew up dressing my two brothers and have always loved to create new styles with menswear so it was only natural that I would follow this path. This path has lead me to explore functionality and aesthetics and everything in between, which lets me know that the future can only get more exciting than it already is.
